Working on the wrong problem is the most common reason for startup failure. In “The Problem Hunt,” you will learn how to research and identify problems WORTH solving. You will receive guidance from Canada’s best venture studios. 

Most importantly, you will learn the process for launching a successful startup. Participating in “The Problem Hunt” will save you from wasting years of effort and thousands of dollars building solutions for non-existent problems!

Form a team of 3-4 people. Then, send your application using this form by 23:59 ET on January 31, 2021.

If you don’t have a team but want to participate, complete this form by 23:59 ET on January 31, 2021, and we will match you.

You will hear back from REVCA by 23:59 ET on February 1, 2021.

Kick-off

At least one team member must attend the kick-off on February 3, 2021. You will learn about the case competition process, expectations, and learn new tools and processes that will help you succeed. The kick-off details will be communicated to the selected teams over email.

Video due

Submit the first deliverable by 23:59 ET on March 3, 2021. Successful teams are notified by 23:59 ET on March 7, 2021

Selected teams deliver a live presentation to a committee of judges during the week of March 29, 2021 (final date to be confirmed). Winners are announced.
